Joanne Winkler is the third-generation owner of ESCO Insurance Agency, a family business that has helped protect families and businesses since 1960. The youngest of four daughters, Joanne grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, attended Mother McAuley High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University.
After college, she joined her father in the family business, earned her insurance license and began a career that now spans more than 30 years. Joanne believes insurance should feel personal—not confusing or intimidating. She is known for honest advice, dependable service and helping clients understand their options without unnecessary insurance jargon.
Giving back is also a big part of who she is. In the weeks following Hurricane Helene, Joanne co-founded FairviewStrong.org to help families rebuild their homes and lives. She also serves on the boards of the Fairview Town Crier and Fairview Business Association and participates in the A.C. Reynolds Parent Advisory Council.
Outside the office, Joanne enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, volleyball, reading and local music. She loves spending time with her husband, Todd, their children and their dogs, Frankie and Sarge.

Todd was raised in Bolingbrook, IL and graduated from Bolingbrook High School. He then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business from Northern Illinois University.
After twenty-one years in the corporate world of sales and marketing, Todd was given the opportunity to join forces with his wife, Joanne, and sister-in-law Meggan. With the family-owned business growing, Todd’s experience in sales has been a great addition to the team.
When Todd is not working he enjoys hiking, backpacking, trail running, soccer, golf, and spending time with his two kids, wife and dogs.

Meggan, a native of the south suburbs of Chicago, is the third of four daughters and an alumna of Carl Sandburg High School. Following high school, Meggan devoted many years to being a dedicated full-time mother, raising her three children: Richie, Ryan, and Grace.
As her children progressed through their formative years, Meggan chose to reenter the workforce, contributing as a teacher’s aide within her local school district. In 2015, she rejoined the family business as a full-time employee at Esco Insurance.
Outside of her professional commitments, Meggan cherishes moments spent with her family—comprising her husband, Rich, her three kids and their two dogs, Buddy and Kinsey. Whether feeling the sun on her face, dipping her feet in the water, or creating cherished memories during family camping trips and delightful days by the lake, she finds fulfillment in the simple joys shared with her loved ones.
